HTC EVO 4G Video Demo

This is a quick video I shot on the way home today.  All I can say is the HTC EVO 4G definitely trumps the iPhone in every way!

Saitek Cyborg V.5 Gaming Mat

After a recent trip to my local Frys store I came home with the Cyborg V.5 Gaming surface by Saitek as seen below. I was a little apprehensive about buying a new mouse pad seeing as I currently use a Ratpadz GS and figured that this was the end all be all of mouse pads. After a solid ~5 years of use my Ratpadz GS has since taken a beating and no longer performs as it once had. So I finally decided that a replacement was in need.

Linksys WRT160N

The Linksys WRT160N router seems to be the Wireless N replacement for the renowned WRT54G. If you have been in the wireless market for any time you should have heard of this model by now, which also means you have heard of it's reliability. While coming in at a mere $49.99 you really can't go wrong with this router. My initial response to this router was, “... Great, another spaceship router with a playschool interface.” I obviously, like any advanced user would, tossed the provided CD in the pile of unused documentation I have accumulated and started by powering up the router. Once connected to the router using one of the four wired ports, I opted to use the traditional Linksys web interface. I was pleased to find that this interface remained relatively unchanged with the exception of a few features that I was happy to see. Within just a few minutes I was able to enable my wireless security and set up my filter list. I was extremely happy to go from WRT54G to WRT160N with zero issues in just under five minutes.
